Facilitation
i4J offers in-person and virtual facilitation services.
i4J is a design hub that creates capacity for communities to work together. We bring diverse system actors to the table to align potentially divergent interests toward a shared vision for justice. The design hub’s role is to build trust, prevent harm, and advance productive conversation and decision-making.
i4J offers facilitation for events, conferences, convenings, work groups, commissions and more. Working with the i4J design hub can advance creative and productive solution-building:
Application of human-centered design and systems thinking methods through participatory action research
Building trust with systemically disinvested communities
Gathering information through a trusted intermediary
Thoughtful identification and engagement of system actors in the community
Synthesis of information gathered from diverse perspectives into a comprehensible narrative.
Identification of barriers and opportunities in the existing system
Productive of useful and usable reports and deliverables to document the changemaking process
The i4J team has extensive experience facilitating small groups as well as large events.
