Cheenar Shah

i4J Project Lead

Cheenar Shah is a design researcher and graphic designer with a strong focus on visual communication and collaborative, design-led research. She is an i4J Project Lead focusing on UX4Justice and the System Impact Area.

Previously, she spearheaded design initiatives for global mental health labs at The New School and George Washington University, integrating human-centered design into clinical interventions. Enthusiastic about working at the intersections of design, strategy, and innovation, Cheenar is a storyteller at heart. She leverages her multidisciplinary skills to bridge the gap between research, communication, and implementation, consistently striving to make a positive impact.

She holds an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and a B.Des from GLS Institute of Design.
