Chris Griffin is the Director of Empirical & Policy Research at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He is a leader in the field of randomized field experiments that test access to justice innovations. Griffin’s research spans questions in pretrial justice, domestic violence services, and eviction representation. He is committed to making the administration and practice of law more evidence-based and teaching law students to develop stronger quantitative intuition. Before joining the Arizona Law faculty, Griffin was the Research Director at the Harvard Law School Access to Justice Lab and served on the faculties of William & Mary and Duke Law Schools. He holds a B.S. from Georgetown University, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
